Born on March 21st, 1997

Floyd is one horse that has been around Bridle Path since the beginning. Angie acquired Floyd from a friend when he was 4 years old. Angie had a Buckskin horse that Floyd’s owner was interested in, so they made a trade and swapped registration papers. 

Shortly after she got him, Angie began working with Floyd to make him a barrel racing horse. She soon realized what a talented horse she had on her hands. Angie planned on taking Floyd on the rodeo circuit to compete in the barrel racing, however, she never got the chance. She had just started Bridle Path Quarter Horses, which meant she and Floyd had to go to work.

Floyd got a job on the trail horse string and has since turned out to be one of the best. His claim to fame, however, is still in the arena.
